The hallmark of an experienced diver.
Divers who move underwater with elegance, without effort, without touching anything and using very little air all have one thing in common: perfect buoyancy. This specialty takes your buoyancy skills beyond what you learned in Open Water, until they become almost automatic.
How to determine exactly how much weight you need, how to position weights and equipment for balanced trim, streamlining techniques to move with less effort and use less air, and how to hover effortlessly in any position.
The course is usually completed in half a day (2–4 hours).
PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent.
More relaxed dives, air that lasts longer and minimal impact on the marine environment you're observing. It also counts as an Adventure Dive for Advanced Open Water Diver and towards Master Scuba Diver.
